Shreveport Nationals T-Ball win the 2021 District Championship this past weekend in Haughton. After winning their first game against the Shreveport Nationals, the Nationals lose to Bossier and are sent to the losers bracket. The young Shreveport Americans team battle back and give Bossier everything they've got, beating Bossier and sending them into the losers brackets where there was a 3 team tie between Shreveport Nationals, Shreveport Americans and Bossier.

A random draw decides who get the bye to the championship and who has to play to get there. The Bossier and Shreveport Americans coaches draw and leave the Shreveport Nationals with the bye to the championship. A short rain delay pushed the games back a little and the play-in game doesn't start until about 9:00pm. Shreveport Americans were gassed and Bossier beats them handedly to make it to the championship game vs the waiting Shreveport Nationals.

It was a back and forth game and was tied at 20 after 3 innings. The 4th inning keeps it close, but Shreveport blows it open in the 5th with a 12 run inning and end up winning the District Championship at 11:00pm at night! It was a great showing for this both teams as they gear up for the State Tournament in hopes to make it to the World Series.
