Shreveport Dixie
Baseball, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c) (3), organization consisting of a group of parents, coaches, and friends working together
to provide one of the best youth baseball organizations and complexes in the entire state. We operate baseball leagues for
boys & girls, ages 5 to 14. We are affiliated with Dixie Youth and Dixie Boys. We play under the Dixie National Rules
during our Spring and Summer leagues. During the Fall, we provide an instructional league play, and also participate in a
tournament system that will allow players to advance as far as the World Series.
The Shreveport Dixie Baseball, INC.
was started in 1990 by a handful of volunteers. Since that time with the help of many others, we have built a complex with
5 fields, permanent restrooms, office, umpire room, and a concession stand.
Our
Main Objectives
A. To provide opportunity for development of a quality baseball
program for all youth in the Shreveport Area.
B. To
maintain the objectives & philosophy of our National & State Organizations.
C. To provide clean, safe playing fields with the highest quality possible.
D. To provide a family atmosphere for our youth.
